Diesel Technician

　　Description

　　We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business (Albuquerque, NM).

　　In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

　　(Entry): Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality (Intermediate): Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision (Advanced): Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools Larger more complicated engine rebuilds Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation DOT (if applicable)

　　This position does not require a CDL but would be nice to have, a CDL may be required to obtain upon hire. A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older This position will require a completed DMV driving report but no Driver Qualification file. CANDIDATE MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD AND HAVE 2 YEARS DRIVING EXPERIENCE. This position will be part of the FTA pool. A current valid license is required for this role Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements.
