We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing ATS team at Zebra Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in working with cloud technologies, automating infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration with development teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop automation for CI/CD software builds of Zebra software, and its related components.
Support design and implementation of Zebras Cloud Infrastructure for all environment
Work closely with the Zebra DevOps team situated in US.
Partner with stakeholders to propose and implement holistic solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and capability of supporting Zebra’s growing cloud infrastructure.
Responsible for automation for various Zebra applications/SDKs in one or more areas like Android /iOS platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software integration issues.
Identify, evaluate, develop, and integrate tools and processes to improve and automate workflows.
Setting up complete automation/builds systems from scratch, migration & porting onto new/latest build/automation systems
Must Have
Bachelor’s Engineering degree or higher.
8+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.
5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP.
5+ years of relevant experience in build, automation, and frameworks
An ability to approach challenges with a growth mindset.
Experience with source control systems such as Git, SVN etc.
Experience in working with databases.
Experience in one or more CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Bash, Python, JavaScript etc.
Proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, Go, Java, C, C++ etc.
Experience working with Linux Systems.
Experience in working with one or more DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, JMeter, Spinnaker, Jenkins etc.
Strong coding and testing mindset.
Good written and oral communication skills
Manage the source code control system, build systems, enhance & maintain automation tools and web services
Worked with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions for observability JMeter etc
Knowledge about different mobile platforms and familiar with different automation frameworks
Experience with Makefiles, reading backtraces and stack traces
Working knowledge/Experience of Agile/Scrum development
Self-motivated and self-starter with high degree of work ethic
Deep knowledge, of many of the following systems components
Mobile computing software including strong knowledge of Android
Generic hardware: servers, networking gear, mobile devices/tablets/laptops
Enterprise specific components: web technologies, databases, middleware, frameworks, OSs (server and mobile), virtualization, firewalls, and hosted services (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, BaaS) including differences from on-premises equivalents
