Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in developer relations or technical consulting.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with external partners such as app/web developers, SDK developers, or OEMs.
Experience writing blogs, articles, or interacting with developer communities.
Integration experience in the web and/or mobile advertising ecosystem (ad networks, ad tech providers, attribution, SDK developers).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable giving talks in a public forum or desire to learn.

Part community manager and part developer advocate, Developer Programs Engineers collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate for developers interests internally at Google. Not afraid to be hands-on, you write sample code and client libraries as well as participate in developer forums and support queues to troubleshoot and debug coding problems developers encounter. Internally, you work with product engineering teams improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs and testing new features. With your technical expertise, you drive strategy around fostering a community of developers who work with Google technologies. An ardent advocate for these developers, you represent their voice internally to our Product Managers and serve as their Google support in application development and technology implementation.
In Privacy Sandbox Developer Relations, our mission is to help developers be successful on Android and Chrome by helping them build great privacy-focused solutions while enabling free internet. We are here to enable the ecosystem to migrate these wide-scale and significant changes to the underlying web and application platforms.
We work cross-functionally with PM, engineering, and partnerships from shaping the technology and creating educational materials to advocating for the technology and engaging external app/SDK/web developers.
The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). The products provide enterprises, and ultimately end users, the ability to utilize and manage their services at scale. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Collaborate with product and engineering across Android and the Web to help developers and partners create more private and secure experiences for users.
Develop domain expertise in SDK data access, app/web/SDK distribution, ad targeting, and attribution.
Produce technical educational materials such as tutorials, sample code, videos, and blog posts.
Be the "customer zero" of features and provide technical feedback to help shape the developer experience.
Interact with developers through events and community forums.
