Kforce has a client that is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst I in Detroit, MI.Overall Purpose:The purpose of this position is to support employee computer hardware and software requests; create and maintain employee user accounts for all systems; procure, configure, and deploy computers for employee use; and provide a general overview of system availability on a daily basis. This position is also responsible to provide an analysis of new system software and hardware for adoption/implementation.The Desktop Support Analyst I is required to conduct business in a professional and cordial manner that will uphold the integrity and reputation of the Company. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to the policies, regulations, and procedures of the Company.Essential Functions:
Desktop Support Analyst I will administer IT assets and security components through acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposition Collaborate with service providers and vendors to negotiate and acquire the IT equipment necessary for the Company to conduct business with internal users Provide analysis of new software and hardware which will be considered for general use or deployment to end-users As a Desktop Support Analyst I, you will assist with internal IT supporting services that are not visible to the user base but are necessary for the operation of the department Perform functions related to user account management Perform basic data network and server troubleshooting and monitoring
Requirements
Associate's degree in Information TechnologyTools and equipment: General office equipment including, but not limited to, a computer, printer, photocopier, shredder, telephone, fax machine, and calculator; Hand tools including, but not limited to, hammer, measuring devices, wrench, and level Written communication skills: Ability to complete and maintain documentation/records Computer Skills: Database/Contact Management Software; Internet/Email; Presentation Software; Spreadsheet Software; Word Processing Software
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
