The expected annual salary range for this role is $83997.0 - $123195.6 a year.

What you'll do:
The primary purpose of the Design Thinking Strategist is to help scale design thinking education across internal businesses and functions. You will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of design thinking training offerings, coaching activities, resource materials, and community events. You will support the planning and facilitation of workshops with internal project teams and gain deeper experience with Design Thinking application, providing great opportunity to grow your skills as an educator, practitioner, facilitator, and advocate for the end user. In this role, you will:
Engage in team strategy conversations and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making.Help the team deliver internal training courses and develop new offerings. This includes managing scheduling and registration processes, preparing for and co-instructing classes, and building course curriculum and content.Guide designers and non-designers in learning and applying design thinking principles and methods.Partner with co-facilitators in planning workshop agendas, preparing materials, and facilitating activities, while also navigating challenges and adjusting on the fly.Be an active listener during project scoping conversations with internal partners so that you can effectively contribute to the success of the engagement.Support industrial and user experience designers from Studio Blue in crafting and facilitating world-class design thinking exercises and workshops across multiple product development efforts with Eaton businesses around the world.Craft compelling self-learning resources that use storytelling and elegant visual design to share design thinking concepts and strategic ideas.Enthusiastically participate in events, programs, and communication channels that foster connections and conversations across our internal community of design thinking practitioners and facilitators.Manage your workload effectively by prioritizing assignments and asking for help when you need it. You'll be part of continuously improving our team's processes.Engage in ongoing dialogue with your manager and team members to give and receive constructive feedback and drive your own performance and growth.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of 6 months of experience in one or a combination of the following: human-computer interaction (HCI), human-centered design, product management, marketing, facilitation, change management, strategy development, digital product design, industrial design, communication design, and/or user research.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Design or certificate in Design Thinking from an accredited institution or program.Minimum of 1 year of experience with digital whiteboarding tools, such as Miro or Mural, and Microsoft Office products.Access to an online portfolio or presentation that demonstrates knowledge and application of design, user research, or workshop facilitation experience.Bi-lingual (written and/or spoken) in French, Spanish, German, Hindi or any other non-English Language.
