DMO Deputy Manager - Material

PepsiCo's Data Management and Operations team is tasked with the responsibility of developing quality data collection processes, maintaining the integrity of our data foundations and enabling business leaders and data scientists across the company to have rapid access to the data they need for decision-making and innovation.

Maintain a predictable, transparent, global operating rhythm that ensures always-on access to high-quality data for stakeholders across the companyResponsible for day-to-day data collection, transportation, maintenance/curation and access to the PepsiCo corporate data assetWork cross-functionally across the enterprise to centralize data and standardize it for use by business, data science or other stakeholdersIncrease awareness about available data and democratize access to it across the company
The DMO Associate Analyst in the customer domain will be responsible for collecting, evaluating, and aligning master data process information into MDG, S4 HANA in accordance with Data Governance Policies & the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT Program). The objective of this role is to execute the business processes implemented for material master data maintenance (workflows, screens, data rules). This role is key in ensuring high quality master data records are created and maintained to support business transactions, reporting, & other data requirements in MDG, S4 HANA, and legacy systems.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
Lead the material domain data work and the team in handling workflow requests and ensure the program-defined SLAs are metEstablish excellence in meeting the objectives of the DMO sustain organization & deliver high data quality for smooth business operationsPerform data maintenance in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) environment and ensure high quality data per the defined global template rules/standardsAssist the DMO Champions in setting up the KPIs & workflow metrics/reporting Ability to analyse data issues with minimal direction and identify the relationships betweendata objects, able to do this analysis methodically and engaging the global/local data experts as requiredDefine and develop user stories/service requests and critical test scenarios for major configurable variances in the material master maintenance processManage work intake of data setup requests from the business requestors & initiators, ensuring proper completion of workflow requests & approvals on MDGEnsure accurate lists of key master data attributes & objects are maintained as a key project Reference.Partner with requesting teams and IT support teams to resolve and/or report issues as they ariseCommunicate status of open workflow requests to stakeholders & DMO leads and note follow-ups or issues encounteredMonitor the workflow status and the SLAs, alert the end users missing the SLA dates for completion of their tasks and escalations as applicableAccountability for mass data loads including creation of load format, data preparation, load program design, testing and result verification in collaboration with the business.Applies PepsiCo governance standards to the data objects/data management and problem resolutionBasic knowledge of formal data governance practices and ability to conduct root cause analysis and sees connections between data and process.For simple to medium complexity analytical tasks, able to analyse with some direction and identifying the relationships between those parts of the information. For highly complex analytical tasks, able to do this analysis methodically with some direction.Interface with business partners as an expert in explaining and relating how data impacts their business functionFully understand data, systems, and end to end business processes within multiple functional areasTake ownership of critical path tasks and prioritize work of self and others to deliver results within agreed upon deadlineDevelop process overview and best practice documentation for the team.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computers/ Management Information Systems or related fields preferredAt least 3 years of experience in Data Management- Material & BP Customer/SupplierAt least 1 year of experience in SAP Enterprise or MDG/S4 HANA preferredSystem implementation, testing & baseline support experience a plusExperience working with Microsoft Excel & VBAAbility to work autonomously and escalate issues as required Detail-orientated, thorough with documentation/communicationWorking knowledge of Business Processes in the Customer Master Data Domain
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge:
