POSITION: Deposition Manufacturing Technician
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
Rigaku Innovative Technologies, Inc. (RIT) is looking for a Deposition Manufacturing Technician. RIT is a company located in Auburn Hills, Michigan USA.
Technical Skills:Strong attention to detail and quality orientedGood hands-on skillsFamiliarity with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement equipmentAbility to learn new equipment and processes quicklyPrevious experience with vacuum chambers a plusPrior experience using PC-based control or measurement software systemsGood communication and interpersonal skillsTeam player, flexible and adaptable
Physical Requirements:Excellent visionAbility to lift 35 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionallyAbility to climb laddersAbility to stand while performing duties and monitoring chambers - up to 75% of the timeAbility to use/wear required PPE
Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED acceptable.
Responsibilities:Support production and development of coatings using multiple vacuum deposition tools in a cleanroom environment.Operation & maintenance of Vacuum deposition systems and ancillary equipmentAssist in equipment modification and Tooling InstallationExecution of preventive maintenance and Troubleshooting activitiesWork as part of a team that executes Daily Run sheets provided by Coating EngineersSubstrate Preparation and Product cuttingFollowing Contamination Control Protocols associated with Clean Room OperationUtilization of Syteline ERP and other Microsoft Databases.Other duties as assigned by Department Manager
