Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Demand Planning Manager. This is a hybrid position based out of our Euclid, OH facility. This role leads the development of strategy, processes, and tools for the company's key SIOP forecasting activities, constraining the forecast through plant capacity analysis and insuring customer lead times are accurate for the Master Production Schedule. This position will represent the plant SIOP and demand management department in key cross-functional decisions, including short- and long-term capacity investment strategy discussions, product initiatives, strategic business planning, and systems integration.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $88499.97 - $129799.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you'll do:
Leads the aggregation and analysis of topline demand forecasts and highlights the risks and opportunities pertaining to market and economic factors, enabling senior leadership the support analysis needed to drive improved profitability, volume growth, and achieve channel objectives. This position is also responsible for managing customer web portals, retrieving forecast information from customer portals, planning and scheduling in order to balance the forecast with actual demand, managing the master production schedule and rough-cut capacity planning while maintaining inventory levels to maximize working capital. Responsible to maintain ERP health ensuring accurate Master Data that drives the MRP system. Expected to utilize various business systems, a variety of reports and other analytical tools to ensure timely and economical completion of customer requirements. Manages a team of Business Analysts including Master Production Scheduling.
Drive the SIOP process supported by a cross functional team. Owns measures of fill rates, forecast accuracy and is critical team member to drive SIOP maturity score for the site. Collaborates with other Demand Managers on best practices and aligned processes. Reports directly to Plant Supply Chain Manager and functionally to FMC division SIOP materials management team, supporting the division strategic objectives and long-term planning including capital investments. Develop a yearly profit plan forecast and drive achievement during current year - 24 month rolling, including a 5-year Strategic Plan. Incorporate business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, customer service, program management, etc. to determine demand drivers and to confirm any sales spikes and trends as they arise.You will provide leadership, drive organizational capability and set objectives for the department, leading to continuous improvement of the forecast process, rough-cut capacity planning and Master Production Scheduling, driving the adoption of best practices including the implementation of Kinaxis planning software.Lead the monthly consensus demand and constraint process, including reporting to senior management on forecasts assumptions, sales risks and opportunities. Document and challenge forecast assumptions based on the analysis of market data, industry dynamics, statistics, business trends, and demand patterns. Develop accountability for demand and constraint management as well as Master Production Scheduling through performance measures and provide feedback to the participants in the process.Manage a team of Analysts that will improve Customer On-Time Delivery while meeting Inventory/working capital objectives by ensuring the demand forecast aligns to the master production schedule while taking into consideration the plant's capacity plan.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment required with SIOP Demand Planning experience, rough cut capacity planning, and Master Production Scheduling as well as an understanding of Master Data and MRP systems. Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning and ERP systems/MFGPro, SAP, as well as demand management software (Demantra), and planning execution software (Kinaxis).Strong computer and data analysis skills (i.e., Excel, Access, Oracle BI)Responsible for work assignments with increasing difficulty requiring increase scope and knowledge.Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.
