  The Demand Planner is a key player within the CFG Supply Chain who supports the S&OP process through ownership of forecasting for all SKU's across all channels. Forecasting will require the demand planner to consider a combination of robust data analysis (applied to various internal and external sources) and qualitative feedback about our business. Knowledge of our customers will be gained through cross functional partnership with the sales and sales support teams.ForecastingDevelop and maintain appropriate forecasting strategy for every itemLaunch and own a new process for forecasting fresh itemsMonthly meetings with Foodservice Business Managers to review account specific trendsMonthly meetings with Fresh Business Unit Managers to review product trendsWeekly meetings with Retail Business Managers to review accounts and trade plansComprehensive analysis of portfolio weeklyReporting of forecasting accuracyFull ownership of making needed changes to ensure forecast is accurate as possibleDevelop and maintain a 12 month rolling outlook for all product families; present and gain consensus monthly as part of the formal S&OP processParticipate in the S&OP Executive Overview meeting to speak to key forecasting issues as neededAchieve and maintain industry or function specific credentialsData ManagementManage data sets (both customer specific and SKU specific) to facilitate forecasting processReconcile forecasting hierarchy to the sales hierarchyStrategicConstructively challenge the status quo in support of established best practices in supply chain areas (i.e. methods of measuring, target development)Continually look for areas of improvement within areas of oversight and entire supply chainWork with IT to support automation, increased efficiencies, and optimized performance in reporting, tracking, and disseminating key informationTeam CFGBe creative and add value wherever possibleAdd tasks as time and learning curve allowSupport cross-functional projects and initiatives as neededParticipate in CFG-sponsored personal growth programsQualifications

  Experience2 years: relevant work experience. BS/BA in supply chain management, business administration, statistics, engineering, or a related field. (required)
