We are looking for Strategy Advisor Summer Associates who love a challenge, excel at complex problem solving, and embrace a fast pace working environment. You will work among strategic advisors to help our clients shape their business agendas and architect enterprise transformations that have the potential to impact their business and our society for years to come.
We're looking for strategic storytellers, critical thinkers, tech-savvy innovators, entrepreneurs, and purpose-driven leaders who thrive in ambiguity and team environments. We're also looking for future strategic advisors and executive relationship builders who are excited about developing breadth and depth across functional capabilities and industry topics and have a passion for tackling a variety of business, technological, and organizational challenges head-on.
The Work You'll Do
As a Strategy Advisor, the work you will do may be focused on:
Developing enterprise and business unit strategies that help clients make strategic choices to drive growth or improve agilityDeveloping strategies for M&A and corporate restructuring opportunities that create value for our clientsUnderstanding customers and their needs, and developing strategies and experiences to attract themTransforming workforces, workforce management practices, and workforce experiences through future of work talent strategies, operating model shifts, and workplace redesign, enabling businesses to outperform and disrupt their sectorsAdvising and shaping the COO and senior operations executives' agenda to achieve growth aspirations, drive cost optimization and revenue enhancement, and transform the business for performance
The work you will do will help the C-suite directly make choices to address their most critical business issues of today and the future. Your impact will help clients achieve long-term growth, outpace competitors, meet consumer needs, and innovate in a changing and evolving market.
Example projects may include:
Building a growth strategy and business case to bring new products to marketDefining a purpose-led social impact strategy to drive long-term value for a businessDefining a digital/omnichannel customer experience, setting the strategy, and defining the go-to-market and tech roadmapConducting analysis on a potential M&A transaction and assessing financial impacts of a changing market landscapeDesigning a work-from-anywhere playbook and organizational change strategyDesigning and launching a new digital experience for a specific customer baseStanding up new lines of business enabled by technology advancements and capabilities (i.e., automation, AI & analytics, digitization)Developing and executing an M&A strategy to integrate two companies and combine their brands, products, people, technology, and organizationHelping a client design their future organizational culture to drive their business strategyDesigning operating models to enable growth, reduce costs, and increase the bottom line

Qualifications:
MBA degree (expected graduation by Spring/Summer 2025)Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureMinimum of 3 years work experience requiredStrong academic standingAbility to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $3,365 per week.
