Position Summary:The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate jobsites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and preparing thetruck for the following day and maintaining the truck and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:Compliance of company, state and federal guidelines particularly as itrelates to OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel.Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product toensure accuracy of order.Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by thecustomer.Secures mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.Navigates routes to the job site.Basic Qualifications:Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. in order to carry materials, such asdrywall materials and joint compound.Core Competencies:Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity.Embody the principles of servant leadership, even in a non-people managementrole, by puttingthe needs of others first, valuing diverse perspectives bysincerely appreciating and considering others' opinions and ideas anddemonstrating a positive and humble attitude.Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead,execute and/or delegate as needed, while also collaborating with others toget the job done.Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of theorganization; invest in building relationships with the Field Operations andField Support Center team members.Help champion an inclusive working environment; empower others to bringtheir full selves to the workplace; celebrate, welcome, and value thedifferent backgrounds and experiences that make up our workforce; recognizethat all team members are valued, regardless of race, background,tenure, or tiAbility to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers andcustomers.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time.Constantly, moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehiclesonto job site.Constantly, positions self to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.Frequently moves materials weighing up to 100lbs while unloading and loadingflatbed.Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able toexchange accurate. information in these situations.Constantly working in an outside environment while making deliveries.Required Cognitive Skills:Must be able to prioritize job sites and deadlines.Must be able to manage stress depending on customer's deadline.Must be able to multitask.Must be able to receive information and directions.Must be able to quickly communicate sol tions if problems occur.Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement.Estimated Compensation Range: $16.00-19.00/hr** This pay range is a reasonable estimate made in good faith of the possiblecompensation at the time of the posting of this position.
