  Alight is Looking for a Sr. Defined Contribution Client Manager

  The DC Senior Client Manager (DC Sr. CM) is the main point of contact for the client on large, complex deliverables and new product offerings. The DC Sr. CM will consult and influence decisions, leveraging their knowledge and strong understanding of clients' needs to identify new revenue growth, upsell, and cross sell opportunities. The DC Sr. CM understands the client's business strategy and works with aligned Client Leader, foundation group, legal and product development to proactively communicate Alight's point of view relative to legislative and compliance changes. The DC Sr. CM participates in strategic conversations with the client utilizing strong understanding of all Alight solutions.

  Your Impact as a Sr. Defined Contribution Client Manager

  • Ensure client requirements are current

  • Manage complex ad hoc client projects

  • Utilize expert knowledge of DC to work with the client on difficult plan issues and provide guidance on plan changes or projects

  • Manage in-year revenue growth with a focus on project work and upselling existing scope

  • Manage to the client contract, and preserve contract margins including SLA adherence and E&O negotiations

  • Accountable for financial forecast accuracy

  • Partner with Oversight & Excellence to reduce total cost to serve by identifying opportunities to reduce demand, improve delivery model cost, drive efficiency, leverage and scale

  • Communicate regularly with clients at senior and executive levels of the organization on client delivery

  • Collaborate with Renewal Executives and Client Leader to prepare renewal, including gauging pulse of key stakeholders and decision-makers to expand or upsell current solution offerings

  • Act as subject matter expert for new product and services

  Knowledge and Expertise

  • Anticipates needs of client based on strong DC and client knowledge

  • Identify and lead team through changes, supporting the goals of the client and Alight

  • Effective communication and influencing skills on domain and technical matters, internally and externally

  • Advanced management and organizational skills with ability to adapt to change

  • Ability to work with and influence all areas of client delivery, and across the business, to best meet the outcomes for the client

  Education

  Bachelor's degree (business context preferred) or equivalent work experience required

  5+ years in DC and a variety of client experiences

  Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $55,800.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $88,500.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
