Job Summary
Wilton Brands has an immediate opening for a Deductions Analyst. Reporting to the Manager, Trade Finance, this is a key role that provides sound customer support for Wilton Brands. The Deductions Specialist will work to track, research, process, and resolve customer deductions including but not limited to pricing, promotional discounts, rebates, shipping claims, freight, product returns, post-audits, etc. In most cases, this role requires working with cross-functional groups internally, along with various external groups, customer portals and other resources to bring a deduction to its proper conclusion, including if needed, issuing and collecting on chargebacks.
Essential Responsibilities: Track, research, process, approve or dispute deductions made by assigned customers or accounts Manage a tracker that reports on the status of incoming deductions Assist other team members as needed to research, dispute, report, and clear deductions Ensure deductions clearing are in line with the budget/forecast/accrual assigned and/or secure proper approvals if exceptions are required. Identify trends in incoming deductions and recommend potential courses of action. Other job duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor's Degree preferred 3+ years' experience in customer service analyst roles SAP, Fiori, LogPro, BI (Business Intelligence) experience preferred Experience working with customer portals preferred Akeron experience a plus Proficiency in MS Excel, MSWord and MS Outlook Ability to do V look ups, pivot tables and formulas in Excel Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast pace pressured environment Ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis Ability to problem-solve, think independently, and be persistent in bringing issues to conclusion Physical Demands/Work Requirements: This role is sedentary in nature and requires the ability to be seated at a desk for majority of the work day. While working off-site, employees are expected to work the same general hours that they were originally hired to work, and to perform their responsibilities as they otherwise would at a campus work location. Ability to routinely use standard office equipment such as laptop computers, computer monitors/keyboards, photocopiers and telephones. Ability to be on site at corporate office in a hybrid model.
