　　Work on software development and maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation. Work on designing interfaces and information exchange between modules. Build, release, and deploy processes. Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing. Write code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

　　Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $165,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Requirements:

　　Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Engineer, or a closely related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: C/C++; Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and coding principles; micro services architecture and development; Databases including Oracle MySQL, Sybase, and PostgreSQL; Perl and shell scripting; building scalable and available distributed systems; assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices; core data structures, algorithms and their implementation; agile software development. Employer will accept experience gained pre-Bachelor's.
