Design and develop high-performing and highly secure Field-facing applications used by Morgan Stanley Wealth Management business units in an Agile/DevOps environment. Meet with Product Owners on the Business side to gather and analyze requirements for the evolving Business process workflows and corresponding System enhancements. Produce software artifacts including High level system architecture and Low-level Design documents. Make system design decisions, evaluate, integrate, and develop the necessary software using modern Tools and frameworks. Test, deploy applications to production and provide support to the Business for field queries. Collaborate with Partner groups such as Quality Assurance (QA), Application Support (ASG), Infrastructure & Operations, as well as upstream/downstream Systems.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $151,000 and $151,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Analyst, Systems Engineer, or a closely related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Apache Tomcat, and J2EE Web Service development frameworks (JAX-WS and JAX-RS) including Apache CXF; Database design and modeling using relational databases including SQL Server; Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3; Data Structures and Algorithms; Git; Agile Methodologies including Scrum; Unit Testing frameworks including Junit, Karma, and Jasmine. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Visualization tools including Tableau; Python; Redux; Machine Learning Algorithms; DevOps and Microservices architecture; Logging and Monitoring tools including Splunk; Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tools including TeamCity or Jenkins. Requires any amount of experience with: Node.js; ASP.NET; C#; Docker Containers; Deep Learning tools including PySpark, TensorFlow, Flask, and Jupyter Notebooks.
