Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Director in New York, NY.
Develop job architecture framework and compensation pay strategy and structures. Facilitate employee-level role mapping with multiple business teams across the infrastructure business groups of the firm. Conduct benchmarking/market data analyses and develop new compensation structures, including new base pay ranges and bonus targets. Prepare compensation related modeling and analytics and present findings to senior management.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140000 and $140000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Organizational Behavior, Systems and Analytics, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience as a Compensation Specialist, Talent & Learning Generalist, HRBP Analyst, or related occupation in the financial services field. Requires two (2) years of experience with: using Excel formulas, including Look Ups and Nested Ifs, to conduct compensation analysis; conducting data mining; interpreting data sets to identify patterns and trends; investigating, assessing, and providing recommendations on best practices related to compensation design; creating interactive dashboards and charts to present insights from data as executive summary views and to facilitate business decision making; analyzing data sets utilizing Excel formulas and pivot tables to support the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs; evaluating job descriptions to ensure survey benchmarking practices are met; building interactive dashboards and salary charts to analyze industry market information regarding compensation; building and maintaining reporting and compensation metrics using Power BI; conducting market and trend analysis through salary survey results and market research; developing and managing an organization's pay structure; utilizing Excel to model the impact of different base pay increases on average comparative ratios to market and on cost of increase; and calculating the cost of bonus and percentage of base pay.
