　　The Cloud Security Org is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help build modern cloud security services. The candidate will play a key role in delivering firm's cloud security initiatives. We look first and foremost for engineers who are passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices and can thrive in a highly regulated environment.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　• Combine your design and development expertise to deliver world-class and low-friction security services.

　　• Produce extensible and maintainable code.

　　• Architect and build highly available cloud native services

　　• Integrate security services with existing SDLC tooling at the firm.

　　• Work on a DevOps team, where you will be responsible for both the development and operations of mission critical security services

　　• As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching your fellow teammates including code reviews.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Required Qualifications

　　• 5+ years of experience designing and building cloud-native production systems

　　• Experience writing infrastructure as code such as Terraform

　　• Advanced proficiency in one programming language such as Go or Python.

　　• Experience working on an agile team

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　• Experience with infrastructure security or another security discipline.

　　• Experience working on a DevOps team where you were responsible for the operational maturity of the product.

　　• Cloud Provider certification(s)

　　• Experience with policy-as-code tools such as OPA and Rego

　　• Track record of delivering complex projects to production in a highly regulated or constrained environment

　　Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.#LI-TS2
