Through data driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their company. Our team helps companies navigate the accounting and financial reporting challenges of business combinations. As part of the team, you'll develop roadmaps of the driving economic objectives, determine the appropriate professionals needed, and consider financial reporting implications for deals.

  A Corporate Development career, within Deals, offers you the opportunity to help clients understand and build optionality and primacy to execute Corporate Development strategies that facilitate strategic decisions. You will partner with your clients to assess and shepherd, while supporting execution, oversight and governance structure development, the solving of complex investment and critical business issues from ideation to execution across the full spectrum of the M&A lifecycle.

  Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Business Administration/Management

  Minimum Years of Experience:

  12 year(s) with 3-6 years non-consulting experience, 7-10 years leadership and/or management experience (direct and/or matrixed), and/or 7-10 years experience in corporate development, investment banking or M&A related roles.

  Corporate Development Directors support clients through all stages of the deals continuum under their review, direction, & approval, demonstrating extensive thought leadership abilities and/or a proven record of success managing and developing strategic relationships while providing the highest quality work across multiple client projects as team leaders:

  Interacting with C-Suite executives, boards & Functional leaders;Leading, coaching and developing teams and cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environments to achieve multiple competing priorities simultaneously and autonomously;Building collaborative relationships with team members and internal, client and external stakeholders (e.g., law firms, investment banks and counterparty C-Suites), fostering a productive teamwork environment, leading teams to achieve a common vision, soliciting and leveraging diverse views,encouraging innovation, delegating to provide stretch opportunities and developing and growing team members;Taking a lead role in new business development and pursuit activities, including client lead maturation, proposal development, and closing new business opportunities;Managing and delivering significant business results that reflect strategic and creative thinking and individual initiative;Developing a business vision and leading complex projects while functioning as a trusted advisor at the highest levels of client organizations;Identifying and addressing client needs by building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships;Directing and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data, including Market and competitor analysis (market sizing, drivers and dynamics), customer analysis and internal analysis (strategic analysis, business model reviews, financials);Framing and understanding key client issues, processes and mandates, defining realistic expectations for the client, team, and PwC;Being hypothesis driven by employing scientific method for business problem solving, with high level of prioritization on core issues for the client and problem at hand;Scoping and developing high-yield work structures by defining the scope, breaking down work in meaningful structures, prioritizing sequencing;Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of audiences, clients and internal staff and management;Leading project workstreams and developing proposals, deliverables and reports using the Microsoft suite of applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and,Multi-tasking and balancing time effectively, keeping a rapid pace without sacrificing quality.
