We are currently seeking a Database Developer for Test Data Management - REMOTE to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).
NTT DATA seeks a Database Developer focused on Test Data Management. The ideal candidate should be well versed in Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS).
Day to Day Responsibilities include:
Seek out and acquire enhanced skills on cutting-edge test-data management approaches, while championing the adoption of test data management best practices. Create process to enforce test data management best practices. Work directly with QA team members to understand business use cases and help identify test data for short and long-term testing. Work with development and business teams to understand application workflows and determine best approaches for test data identification. Collaborate with Management to design and implement test data strategy and framework. Create test data management roadmap for complex applications, with policies to manage them, and ensure enforcement. Ability to identify dependencies, constraints and risks as needed for test data planning Ability to handle escalations / project progress concerns from client and manage them according to expectations. Ability to lead the delivery of complex medium-to-large projects with utmost attention to details. Provide test data management strategies & tools, and test environment management for clients. Design & implement Harness TDM tools to support QA teams' data management needs in collaboration with NTT TDM Center of Excellence (CoF). Experience with any Test Data Management, or home-grown harness TDM tool. Familiarity with different development methodologies - Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, etc. Defect triage, resolution, and management experience with deep understanding of various defect metrics. QA lifecycle tools experience - HP (Quality Center, QTP, PTC, etc.) or equivalent. Excellent communication skills with affinity for client support.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ Years experience as a Database Programmer or Developer with SQL programming experience. 1+ Years Scripting experience with Python, Shell, Perl, .bat, VB Script, Java Script, or any other scripting language experience. 3+ Years experience with MS-SQL Server or Oracle database management BSc. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematic, Statistics or related field.
Nice To Have:
Snowflake, Azure cosmos DB and/or any other relational database management system. Excellent knowledge and good understanding of SDLC with end-to-end hands-on scripting and unit-testing experience across all phases.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $78,100 - 162,600. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
