Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Data Scientist to join our Phantom Works team in Berkeley, Missouri.
Position Responsibilities :
Develop simple algorithms or assist in evaluating resources to solve mathematical problems.
Influence colleagues to use appropriate mathematical tools and processes.
Code, test and maintain mathematical software tools.
Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematic and statistical techniques based on the scientific method.
This position is expected to be fully onsite in Berkeley, MO.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :
Experience in computational mathematics or mathematical algorithms.
Professional experience writing and testing code.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :
Experience with a high-level programming language such as Python , C++.Typical Education & Experience :
Associate (level 2): Typically, 2 or more year’s related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Mid-level (level 3): Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Associate (level 2): 85,000 – 115,000
Mid-level (level 3): 102,850 – 139,150
