Job Description
The Data Management Analyst for Items is responsible for completing accurate distributor and manufacturer item matching, to include verification and input of supplier and attribute assignment. The Analyst will ensure the product matching processing is completed timely and accurately while maintaining data integrity within the system. This position requires strong attention to large amounts of transaction level detail.
Position reports to Manager, Data Management for Items. This position consists of transaction level item matching, strong attention to detail, and analytics functions. It is also a position that requires strategic and innovative thinking to improve efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
? Responsible for accurate item matching, categorization, and detailed product information tasks
? Achieve periodic matching goals that meet accuracy and integrity requirements
? Complete item maintenance functions, including the elimination of duplicate references to the same item, updates to GTIN and item attribute information, and distributor item re-assignments to the correct item
? Perform item match spot audits, to include the review of previous product number matches and re-assigns
? Manage and respond to requests from stakeholders in an accurate and timely manner
Secondary Responsibilities
? Partner with the Data Management Research Analyst regarding distributor and manufacturer item research and categorization to support internal stakeholders who are dependent on accurate and timely item matching results
? Interact with distributors and manufacturers to accurately analyze and match data
? Research distributors and manufacturers to establish accurate brands and item identification
? Complete updates of supplier specific scorecard information
Qualifications
Strong PC skills in the areas of database and spreadsheet-based applications (MS Excel and MS Access)
? Strong organizational skills
? Knowledge of SQL basics preferred
? Demonstrate analytical skills
? Ability to read and speak Spanish preferred

Years of Relevant Experience. 2-4 years of experience in a professional business setting
Education Requirements. BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience
