About the Role:
The role of the Data Management Analyst is to work with Leads/product owners to analyze data, identify data gaps and create requirements. The DMA would be responsible to create data model design changes, provide transformation logics and solutions while working closely with development teams for implementation on the same. Closely interact with the POs and US partners.
Responsibilities:Support data analysis of traded products across collateral margin agreement, derivatives, investment and reference data and identify data gaps. Analyze data variance between trial balance and other SOR (system of records) and identify the true breaks between the systems.The analyst will create requirements and would be responsible to propose data model design changes, provide transformation logics and solutions.Create dashboards and publish insights on the variance periodically.Understand and create data mapping and lineageParticipate in discussions with US partners and other stakeholders to gain consensus across stakeholders and provide senior level partners with delivery of findings and recommendationsWork with POs/Leads , Business and technology partners or subject matter professionals to document or maintain the BRDAssessing Risks, ensuring mitigations, escalating issues/defects & working with technology partners to research and remediate as neededParticipate in Agile project methodology sessions, including sprint planning and sprint retrospectives.Essential Qualifications:
University degree in Business / Engineering or related discipline.4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data Management, Banking - Treasury/ Capital Market/ Investment/ Financial Risk Management2+ years of experience with Data mapping, data modelling, databases and root cause analysis2+ Years of experience in ETL, Python, Power BI and Tableau desiredFinancial product knowledge/exposure in one or more below:Derivatives (any asset class- Equities, Credit, FX, Commodities)- Listed products and/or OTCSFTs- Securities financing transaction- Securities borrowing/lending, repos, reverse repos, tri-party repos/rev reposCollateral managementIntradayGood understanding of Market related reference dataExcellent SQL/Hive skills - queries, joins, data modelling, relational DB conceptsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDesired Qualifications: Experience in working with remote teamsExperience in Data mapping and data profiling will be added advantageSolid experience with MS ExcelExperience and understanding of Agile methodologyPosting End Date:
