The role of the Data Management Analyst would be to work with product owners to analyze data, identify data gaps and create requirements. The analyst would be responsible to create data model design changes, provide transformation logics , Develop Data Quality Checks and solutions while working closely with development teams for implementation on the same.
In this role, you will:Write Scripts for the Data Quality Checks and Controls Design and conduct moderately complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gapsAdhere to data governance standards and proceduresAnalyze data and identify the data exceptionsIdentify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data qualityDesign and monitor data governance, data quality and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes or procedures to ensure data control and remediation for companywide data management functionsSupport communications with basic documentation related to requirements, design decisions, issue closure, or remediation updatesSupport issue remediation by performing basic to mildly complex data profiling, data or business analysis, and data mapping as part of root cause or impact analysisWork with business and technology partners or subject matter professionals to document or maintain business or technical metadata about systems, business or data elements, or data-related controls and quality checks Assessing Risks, ensuring mitigations, escalating issues/defects & working with technology partners to research and remediate as neededParticipate in Agile project methodology sessions, including sprint planning and sprint retrospectives.Required Qualifications: University degree in Business / Engineering or related discipline.4+ years of Data Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.2+ years of experience with Abinitio: ETL Abinitio Developer, EME (Enterprise Meta Environment) , Express IT2+ Years of experience in ETL Metadata management2+ Years of experience in SQL, Python , Java , Scripting and AutomationExcellent SQL/Hive skills - queries, joins, data modelling, relational DB conceptsFunctional expertise on banking domain.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDesired Qualifications: Experience in working with remote teamsExperience in Data mapping and data profiling will be added advantageSolid experience with MS ExcelExperience and understanding of Agile methodologyPosting End Date:
