Description
We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team in La Porte, Texas. This role involves providing support by managing and maintaining customer data, conducting internal audits, and assisting with benefits administration. This is a part-time 4+ month contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with ensuring accurate and efficient data entry processes. This position will be 100% onsite in the La Porte, TX area.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct internal audits to compare data between systems for uploading into ADP
• Perform data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry tasks and management
• Resolve customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Organize files and maintain accurate customer records
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed
• Perform calculations as part of data entry tasks
• Handle email correspondence with customers and team members
• Utilize 10 Key skills for data entry tasks
• Assist with benefits administration tasks when necessary
• Perform scanning and typing tasks as needed
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Benefits Payroll and Benefits Administration.
• Demonstrable experience in Data Entry.
• Ability to effectively manage Email Correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience in Organizing Files
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have a proactive and positive attitude towards tasks.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with office equipment and administrative procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
• Comfortable adopting new software systems and technology.
