Description
We are looking for Data Center Technician Interns to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. This committed group works to maintain the critical physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services.
Specifically, this intern will work to troubleshoot hardware, network, and Linux issues while maintaining first-class customer service to the teams and groups within the data centers.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast paced technology company and a leader in the world of data centers. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This position involves hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair and may include participation in an on-call rotation. All candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful. In addition to hardware and network repair candidates will install equipment, create documentation, innovate solutions, and fix problems within the Data Center Space. This team works in an environment that operates 24/7.

Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an Associates, Bachelors, or certification program in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Networking, or related technical field with a graduation conferral date between December 2024 and September 2025.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with computer hardware component and operating systems.
Familiar with Linux operating system.
Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager.
An interest in computer sciences and information technology.
