With nearly 50 years of experience, we have the ability to customize solutions to meet our customer's unique needs.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Data Center Installer is responsible for providing high-quality service in all customer technical spaces, including, but not limited to data centers, mobile telephone switch centers, central office wire centers, and designated enterprise spaces. The installer is required to take excellent care of our customers, build relationships, question things, work hard, work smart, and enjoy the experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESInstallation of telecommunications equipment and associated infrastructure per customer standards.Act as a customer contact. Interface with customers and local supervisors to clarify project status.Work well within a team and demonstrate some leadership ability.Plan and layout installation activities to meet dates and budgeted hours. Oversee other personnel when required.The work will involve the installation of power, fiber and switchboard cable, and telecommunications equipment in Data Center and other Telecom facilities. Installers should be familiar with and/or are trained with iron work/bays/equipment rack installation, blueprint/schematic reading.Physically placing, removing, or modifying non-working equipmentCable trays and/or rackingData Equipment cabinets and framesData Servers, Switches, Routers, Repeaters, Bridges, Gateways, Multiplexers, Transceivers, FirewallsFuse PanelsAble to manage team membersPhysically routing the cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit data in various technical spacesIdentify, label, and terminate cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit dataConduct test and document performance characteristics of hardware and softwareResolve equipment / technical issuesReview, analyze, and interpret work orders, drawings, records, and manualsPerform quality validation on in-process and completed workInteract with all members of the organization; Installation, Engineering and Project ManagementPerforms other duties as requested by ManagerReview, analyze, and interpret work orders, drawings, records, and manualsPerform quality validation on in-process and completed workInteract with all members of the organization; Installation, Engineering and Project ManagementPerforms other duties as requested by ManagerQualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent, technical or college degree preferredFour years of experienceProficient in use of Microsoft programs and applicationsProficient in use of IOS and/or Android applicationsMust be able to demonstrate valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
