  We are currently seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Leader to join our team in DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

  Responsibilities:

  Lead and manage data center infrastructure operations for a large federal client, ensuring the efficient and resilient operation of geographically distributed data centers. Collaborate closely with federal client stakeholders to understand their specific data center requirements, business objectives, and security compliance needs. Develop and implement comprehensive data center infrastructure strategies that align with the client's goals and adhere to federal guidelines and regulations. Oversee and manage data center operations, including power distribution, cooling, equipment deployment, and maintenance. Lead the implementation of data center infrastructure management (DCIM) solutions to enhance operational efficiency, visibility, and capacity planning. Develop and enforce site and system resiliency practices to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for all data center locations. Provide leadership to a team responsible for data center technicians, engineers, and support staff, ensuring effective communication, training, and performance management. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of data center operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, business continuity strategies, and risk assessment frameworks. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and federal regulations to continuously enhance data center infrastructure strategies. Provide regular updates and reporting to federal clients on the status of data center operations, resiliency measures, and improvement initiatives. Manage budgets and resource allocation for data center infrastructure operations, including staffing, equipment, and tools. Provide expert guidance to the federal client on data center infrastructure management, ITIL principles, and strategies for optimizing data center operations.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in data center infrastructure management, with a strong focus on federal clients. Proven experience working with large federal clients in the Washington D.C. area or proximate Virginia, demonstrating a deep understanding of their data center needs and compliance requirements. Valid ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 certification is required. Willingness to live in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and travel to data center locations within the region as needed.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Successful track record of managing data center operations for a federal client with multiple, geographically distributed data centers. Deep familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) solutions, site and system resiliency practices, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate data center operations teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of federal IT security standards, compliance regulations, and guidelines (NIST, FISMA, etc.). Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization of data center infrastructure operations. Preferred Certification(s): Project Management Professional Certified (PMP), Uptime Institute AOS, and at least 1 High level technology certification (examples include MCSE, LPIC-3, CCNP, VCAP, or equivalents)

  Location:

  This position is based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area or proximate Virginia, with occasional travel to data center locations within the region
