Job Description
We are looking for a Data Analytics and/or Data Science subject matterexpert/curriculum writer to join us in creating curriculum content onthe topics of Data Analytics and Data Science. In this role, you willwork with an Instructional Designer to produce written content forcurriculum designs, images, videos, assessments, learning objectives,and other educational content to support student learning. Thesematerials will be used to support our students as they master the coreskills of Data Analytics and Data Science.

Responsibilities
Consistently deliver content that meets set criteria and is on timeto support our program launch roadmapCreate new and revised lesson content for the online programcurriculum{=html}<>- Use AI platforms like ChatGPT to generate content and then review and validate that content for accuracy and relevance- Validate and refine the list of objectives, skills, and topics taught in the curriculum- Create assets to support lesson plans, student activities, and written curriculum content such as:
{=html}<>- Formative and summative assessments- Individual projects and presentations
{=html}<>- Video scripts for topic and demonstration videos- Visual assets and/or reference images (diagrams, charts) and sample templates as needed
{=html}<>- Iterate on deliverables based on user and instructional design feedback
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, data analysis,and/or data science{=html}<>- Demonstrated subject matter expert in a variety of areas of data analytics, data analysis, and/or data science- Previous experience developing data analytics or data science curriculum materials for adults in topics like:
{=html}<>- Data analysis, data visualization, statistical analysis- Excel and PowerPoint- SQL and Tableau
{=html}<>- Python- Common supervised learning models: classification, regression, random forest, similarity models, support vector machines, and boosting models- Unsupervised learning models and deep learning models- Machine learning
{=html}<>- Collaborative (e.g., you enjoy partnering with people and have excellent project management skills and follow through)
{=html}<>- Excellent writing skills (e.g., you can produce high-quality prose as well as high-quality presentations. You have a gift for writing about complicated concepts in a beginner-friendly way, and can appropriately scaffold content for beginners)- Comfort with scripting and recording demo videos- Capabl of remote work. You enjoy collaborating and partnering with people in a remote environment and have excellent project management skills and follow through.- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft tools (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)- Ideally available 20-40 hours per week, but do not hesitate to apply if you have less availability

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation range between \$40-\$120/hour. Final rate will bedetermined at hire, and will depend on many factors, including programdomain, market demand, expertise, location, etc.
