  Function Description:

  The Operational Excellence organization operates within Global Commercial Services (GCS) to serve as the first line of defense to strengthen the risk and compliance program. One piece of the overall responsibility of Operational Excellence is the Operational Risk Controls, Analytics and Automation team, which is responsible for performing control assessments in support of new product launches, identifying opportunities to implement preventative application controls, developing, and producing continuous/smart monitoring, metrics, and reporting while using Agile tools and framework.

  This Analyst position is responsible driving GCS risk reduction through automation utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Big Data.

  How will you make an impact in this role?

  Key Responsibilities:

  Lead the development of transforming the control testing and monitoring environment in Global Commercial Services (GCS) through automating proactive and reactive risk identification via Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

  Analyze, develop, and generate actionable information from complex and disparate datasets. Apply both quantitative methods and business knowledge to create insights necessary to support stronger control environment.

  Utilize AI and ML tools to develop (analyze, code, test, deploy) automated control/testing and monitoring features.

  Develop automated data analytics features in big data / data lakes environment.

  Perform analytics/modelling and develop proof-of-concept solutions using big data tools/assets.

  Utilize and participate in maintenance/upkeep of agile team tools and processes using JIRA, Github and Confluence.

  Quickly learn, adapt and support to new tools (eg Programming Languages, Software Packages), processes and

  business functionalities.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  3 Years experience in Risk Management, Data Analytics, or similar role.

  Degree in Computer Science or similar fields with data analytics/computing.

  Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to analyze, develop and present information from complex and

  disparate datasets using. Experience in applying both quantitative methods and business knowledge to create actionable insights.

  Technical expertise with extensive hands-on coding experience in data analytics using SQL, Python, Big Data, Data Lakes, Spark, Hive, Yellowbrick. Knowledge of additional analytics programming languages is a plus.

  Excellent communication and technical writing skills. Ability to put together visualizations with varying level of detail.

  Experience in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Cognos or similar.

  Knowledgeable in agile software development concepts and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Github.

  Demonstrated ability and keenness to quickly adapt and learn new concepts including programming languages, tools, business processes.

  Experience in Financial Services industry, Process Risk Self-Assessment, Risk Management with focus on risk

  monitoring and control automation.
