Departmental Mission Statement: The core mission of the Office of Jury Commissioner (OJC) is to provide randomly-selected pools of eligible jurors, representative of the community from which they are drawn, to each of the jury courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in accordance with the needs of those courts and the direction of the Trial Court. ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE: http://www.mass.gov/courts/jury/index2.htm Notes: Position Summary: Working within the Office of Jury Commissioner, the Data Analyst coordinates the collection and analysis of organizational data for use in process analysis and optimization. Presents findings in regular reports and presentations for use in leadership decision-making. Conducts research, as needed, and applies data to design new standards for optimizing efficiency of operations. Responds to customized requests for data compilation and analysis. Supervision Received: *Works under the direction of the Network and Information Services Manager. *Duties: Manages departmental data for reporting and quarterly metrics; Create and maintain dashboards highlighting key performance indicators; Collects, organizes, analyzes, writes, and distributes periodic data reports; Produces regularly distributed standard internal and external statistical reports quarterly and annually; Presents and distributes data findings to stakeholders as necessary; Reviews internal databases and external sources to complete statistical calculations; Builds out and prepares statewide statistical data reports on demand for information dissemination and other uses; Performs or assists with special projects and writes reports as requested; Performs research for specific programs and court initiatives; and Performs other duties as required.
