Our IT team is on a journey to position our CitrusAd at the forefront of technological advancement - as such we are on the hunt for an Insights Analyst for our growing analytics team.
As an Insights Analyst you’ll be the go-to for providing clear and comprehensive market analysis; and interpretation of key drivers in the US region. You’ll have a choice of being either based in our Tampa (Florida) or Los Angeles (California) office.
You'll be supporting both our Network Sales and Retailer Sales teams to drive insights back to our customers (retailers, brands and suppliers). As such we require a strategic, analytical and results focussed professional who is developing their career towards being seen as the market industry expert to all associated internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to be able to communicate and 'tell a story' with the data is just as important as your technical ability.

You’ll have a technical mind that lives in the data and is able to extract meaningful insights (ideally from an advertising technology background). About the role:
It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same. But on a typical day you might find yourself:
Sourcing, identifying, and drawing conclusion from raw data
Working closely with the relevant business stakeholders to identify various business intelligence and analysis needs to support the decision making within the relevant functional domain
Intercepting business ideas/questions/concerns - translating them to the hypothesis, identifying the required data points for hypothesis assessment, retrieving required data from the database, conducting the analysis, circulating back to the business the findings and related business actions
Asking probing questions to ensure the business problem and the analysis requirement is clearly defined
Developing, updating, and automating reports and dashboards using the visualisation tool i.e. Domo, and ensuring data quality, data integrity, and the provisioning of clean and accurate data
Working with our Network Sales and Retail Sales teams to analyse the data to spot trends or patterns, and use the analytical skills to find correlations in complex data sets
Working with stakeholders and direct teams (across our Network Sales and Retail Sales teams) to define their requirements and build data assets
Helping the analytics team enable self-service reporting & analytics capabilities across the organisation
Working closely with BI Developers to design, build and deploy data models for business consumption
Supporting the deployment of standard Data Assets & tools
Enabling the organisation to realise value with Data and Analytics
Defining business requirements by analysing the problem, facilitate workshops, and assist in defining solution
Performing complex ad hoc data analysis to validate requirements and to present information and findings to the business
Developing insights and reports to drive increased value to our retailers and brands
Working with the broader Data & Analytics team to design, build and deploy the self-service data assets
Leveraging domain knowledge of data lakes, data warehouses, reporting and BI solution and architecture to develop fit for purpose data assets
Providing ongoing support the business teams to ensure re-use of developed assets and alignment of new requirements to the defined data architecture and self-service capabilities
Setting standards and procedures to enable self-service data and features to pass through the complete data/analytics lifecycle, from prototyping through to automation and production at scale
Delivering the technical solution to integrate data assets into a streamlined business insights platform to support our objective of a data-driven organisation;
Be involved in data stewardship.
