We’re looking for a highly motivated, analytical mind to provide analytics services to some of our most strategic clients. As a Data Analyst, you’ll use a combination of business intelligence, web analytics, statistical analysis and data mining techniques to help our clients better understand how their consumers engage with consumer-generated content. The Data Analyst should be able to identify and facilitate the measurement of KPIs, collaborate with business users to understand current and future goals and objectives, elicit requirements that may be known or unknown based on the information provided and provide sound recommendations regarding how best to incorporate these requests. You should be passionate about surfacing undiscovered patterns in data and using quantitative analysis to answer complex questions. You should have a strong background in delivering actionable insights to clients based on your analyses.
What you will doConsult with clients to scope their reporting and analytics needs.Analyze the performance of online, consumer-generated content, identify trends/best practices, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.Create informative visualizations that intuitively display large amounts of data and/or complex relationships.Analyze one of the world’s largest networks of shopper data, both structured and unstructured data sets.Develop technical requirements for report automation and collaborate with engineers to implement these client solutions.Summarize and report analytical findings to clients in both oral and written form.
Who you areBS in Management Information Systems, Statistics, Math, Operations Research, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline1+ years experience with SQL (or similar language aimed at querying relational databases)1+ years in conducting statistical analyses, working on large data setsProven work experience in a customer-facing analytics roleAbility to manage high volume of projects and client relationships concurrentlyFamiliarity with web analytics concepts and measurement techniques - e.g. segmentation, event trackingFamiliarity with a scripting language (preferably Python)Strong ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
