The role:
The incumbent will support the HR data quality measurement process and data issue resolution process across the UK/EMEA & APAC regions. The scope includes suggesting new key data quality checks and resolution processes.
The role requires review and audit of information utilizing existing and newly developed reporting, dashboard, and scorecard tools and solutions. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is expected. The incumbent must have an existing understanding of HR data elements (regional and local) and impactful country and region specific regulations (such as European GDPR regulations) and compliance and policy related processes and practices.
Another area of direct responsibility is to assist special projects, including, but not limited to, annual merit and bonus loads to HR Connect and payroll systems, acquisition and divestiture integrations and separations, fiscal and calendar year end special processing and data updates, data standardization and cleansing, reorganizations and restructuring activities, technology upgrades, migrations and patching, enhancement request process improvements, and new data integrations to ELC systems.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Support service delivery of HR regional ad hoc regional data, information, and analysis. Maintain quality and integrity of HR master data. Understand HR business processes in order to interpret business requirements and develop audit and quality control solution details in layperson terms. Service delivery development of ad hoc information and reporting requests to support end user requirements. Building visual dashboards and scorecards as needed. Encouraging direct access to information, including sharing of training and reference materials as appropriate. Utilize scheduled reporting delivery capabilities when information is needed repeatedly on a periodic basis. Supports existing reporting capabilities and tools, including development of documentation and training materials around the catalog of information available, reporting definitions, standards, and business logic, and navigational assistance. Contribute to and support process improvements for the reporting function. Maintain strong technical skills in utilizing the Oracle HR/Payroll System and related reporting tools. Maintain close partnership with IT team to review and prioritize all requests for enhancement as well as troubleshooting any production issues and complex inquiries. Provide support for special projects and tasks as needed, particularly those relating to employee requirements and records. Seek out opportunities for service delivery improvement, including new software tools and technology capabilities, new processes and techniques to deliver information and reports, and new innovative areas of focus and expertise amongst the global reporting community. Monitor regulatory environment, particularly around data privacy, information protection, and sensitivity of information Partners with team members and other cross functional internal resources, including HR, IT, Payroll, Legal, Finance and others to conduct audits and resolve underlying issues.
Key Skills
Minimum 2 years relevant experience required. Fluent English is a must any other language knowledge is a plus. Hands on experience in using data reporting and visualization tools, including Microsoft Excel, and specifically with pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP's, XLOOKUP's, Power Query, Macros, graphs, etc. Experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to create and edit documents and presentations. Strong research, analytical & problem solving skills, consulting & listening skills. Understands data structures and able to recognize patterns within data and information. Must be detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task, and keep thorough records. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Thinks critically and develops information delivery solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain good working relationships. Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment. Work in a fast-paced environment, and able to pivot quickly while bringing assignments to completion. Strong analytical, research, & problem solving skills, consulting & listening skills. Ability to deal w/ambiguity & formulate root cause analyses. Experience with Power BI (data modeling, data expressions, data visualizations). Experience with Oracle systems and reporting utilities (EBS Reporting and OBIEE Reporting). Experience with SalesForce and Visier. Experience with SQL. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform and Load). Data Automation system (UI Path, DataLoad) and Python experience is a plus.
