In your new role as a cyber security professional, you will protect our customer’s most sensitive data and complex systems from all forms of threats including cyber-attacks, insider threats, rogue network devices, and malicious software and applications. You will work with a team of like-minded professionals to share and collaborate upon your ideas to improve the cybersecurity infrastructure, architecture, and configuration deployments. Your ideas and contributions will matter.
This is a contingent position based upon customer approval.
Position Details and Responsibilities
Skyepoint Decisions is seeking a Data Analyst to support Dept of State contract. This position will allow for limited telework, with primary work location on-site at a secure government facility, at least two days per week. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Work location and schedule subject to change based on government needs and requirements. At this time, it is Washington, DC.
Description of Duties:
Utilize enterprise IT management systems and tools (e.g. PowerBI and ServiceNow) to collect and analyze data, develop, organize, and present dashboards, ad-hoc reports and other data visualizations for internal and external customers.Apply statistical methodologies to identify trends and patterns in the data. Interpret findings and make recommendations based on industry standard IT management processes.Design, develop, create and maintain visually intuitive, appealing and interactive dashboards, reports and visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.Prepare and brief senior level management, effectively communicating complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other external organizations in the performance of responsibilities and duties.
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills/Attributes:
Bachelor’s in computer science, data science, related field, or equivalent work experience3-5+ years of work experience in data management and analysisStrong work commitment. Maximize availability to receive ad-hoc taskings. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Self-motivation, professionalism and accountability.Ability to work under pressure and time constraints to meet deadlines.Must be a US citizen.
