Job Purpose and Impact
The Dairy Veterinary Sales Advisor will be aligned to Cargill's Animal Nutrition Health business in India. You will support the team with face to face and remote selling to new and existing customers, appointing new distributors, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels for your assigned territory. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions to the farmers.
Key Accountabilities
Help develop, advice and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations and participate in conducting product demonstrations
Help identify and contact prospective customers, mainly farmers
Build customer relationships that help generate future sales and repeat business
Apply broad theoretical job knowledge to sell directly to customers
Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong exposure in sales advisor role, general trade and distribution sales in the agriculture sector (pesticides, fertilizers, agriculture chemicals)
Sales exposure in the Veterinary background is an added advantage
Should have very strong connects with farmers in the state
Must be fluent in speaking in local language
Proven experience in increasing sales and profitability in the assigned territory
Ability to manage multiple dealers and SKU's
