In this project, student will be expected to perform cybersecurity testing by understanding the various exploitation and ethical hacking techniques on interfaces in the ECU such as UART, SPI, I2C, JTAG to gain access to read or write memory contents.
The student is expected to perform cybersecurity attacking activities like sniffing, bruteforce, etc. to gain unauthorized access to ECU and derive cybersecurity test cases for such activities.
Good programming knowledge in one or more programming languages – Python, C++, C / C# programming
Good understanding of interfaces such as SPI, UART and communication protocols such as Cellular, Bluetooth and WiFi
Basic understanding of Cybersecurity and/or Automotive systems
To have Good verbal and written communication skills and good Presentation skills
Quick learner and self starter
Requires candidate to commit at least 6 months
