Cybersecurity Managed Services Transition Manager
Position Description

CGI's client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Cybersecurity Managed Services Transition Project Manager to manage the transition from one cybersecurity managed service provider to another.
This is a Hybrid Model role, so candidates need to be local to one of the following areas:
-Plymouth Meeting, PA
-King of Prussia, PA
-Philadelphia, PA
As a Managed Services Transition Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing transition planning and execution project plans and schedules, establishing robust program governance, a fit for purpose operational framework, metrics, reporting and transition management. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity consulting or managed services transitions and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, as well as experience in the life sciences industry. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills and a strong track record of project and program delivery.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Managed Service Transition Project Manager (Lead) will be responsible for managing the transition of cybersecurity services from one provider to another. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, with a focus on cybersecurity and IT service management. The candidate will also have experience in managing teams, and will be responsible for ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the transition of cybersecurity services from one provider to another.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage project decisions, risks and issues, and develops and implements risk mitigation strategies with Client Project Manager and CGI Engagement Manager.
• Plans, organizes, leads, and monitors the activities of the Delivery team, including staff, equipment, and vendors.
• Ensures that there is adequate staffing on the project and that all staff is trained on the project's procedures applying to their roles
• Develop and maintain relationships and communications with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain broad and deep knowledge/ expertise on Client business and technology landscape with respect to CGI engagements to ensure excellent delivery and contribute to a high level of client satisfaction.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Ensure that project and management deliverables are of high quality and meet customer requirements.
• Manage project change requests and ensure that they are properly documented and approved.
• Performs role of Configuration Manager, ensuring that the procedures identified for configuration management are followed and that the Change Control Board (CCB) performs as specified;
• Performs role of Requirements Manager, ensuring that the procedures identified for requirements management are followed
• Support business development and account management activities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in managing complex IT projects, with a focus on cybersecurity and IT service management.
• Experience operating in Managed Service Provider environment
• Experience in managing teams of technical professionals in a matrix environment.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of hosting technology is required.
• Strong experience in MS Project or other project management tools and methods, including agile, product operating model, scaled agile and waterfall.
• PMP, CISSP, PMI, ITIL, CISM, ISC2, CAPM, CISA, V3, RMF certifications are preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $122,200 - $288,700.
