Cybersecurity Analyst I
Job Overview:
As Cybersecurity Analyst 1, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the company's online security infrastructure. You will be working alongside other analysts to detect and respond to online security events, as well as identifying and addressing potential online security targets within the company's systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze online security events (alerts & dashboard) to identify potential online security threats
Work with peers to investigate online security events and provide recommendations for remediation
Analyze bot behavior and top paths to identify potential online security attacks and propose solutions to mitigate
Identify critical paths (areas of potential attack) and document them
Work with development partners to aid in the identification of critical paths
Assist in maintaining and updating online security policies and procedures (runbooks)
Assist with online security audits and assessments
Provide input and recommendations for improving the company's security posture
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
Requirements:
Familiarity with online security technologies such as web application firewalls, DDoS prevention, and online detection/mitigation systems
Knowledge of website & api construction
Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO
Understanding of networking protocols and technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
Security certifications such as CompTIA SecurityExperience with incident response procedures.
Knowledge of cloud security technologies and architectures
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Possibility of infrequent traveling
