Your role
Are you a cybersecurity professional who is passionate about proactive security? Do you enjoy working closely with business, legal and compliance to improve the preparedness of a company's cybersecurity posture? Do you have knowledge of threat modeling frameworks and best practices? Do you have strong analytical and problem solving skills that you would like to use to help improve the UBS Cyber Security function? We are looking for someone like you to:
• support the governance of cybersecurity threat monitoring processes across the Cyber Defense organization
• partner with security content teams to oversee the accurate development of security monitoring use cases to meet the evolving threat landscape, adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• provide governance support to all teams across the Cyber Defense function and leverage your expertise to help shape the team's strategy and continuous security improvement
• respond to requests for ad-hoc reporting and research topics from management as required
• prepare executive materials to keep management updated on remediation progress and emerging issues
• enhance both technical and organizational controls to improve the security posture of UBS
• identify opportunities aligned to our objectives and build a business case for change
• collaborate across teams from different geographies and business divisions on cyber remediation initiatives

Your team
You will be working in the Technology Services, Technology Information Security Office (TS TISO).
This organization is responsible for the technical aspects of our cyber security and information security at UBS. This includes building and managing the technical security systems and infrastructure we have globally to managing our complex identity and access management.
The TS TISO Vision is to protect, preserve, and prolong the value of the UBS data and digital services, and enhance UBS's brand and competitiveness in a digitized world. The Cyber Defense organization with TISO leads the management of all cyber threats and cyber risk across the Firm. To "protect the foundations and secure the future," Cyber Defense serves two mission areas: cyber threat management and defense (understanding, detecting, and responding to threats), and cyber risk management and governance (setting priorities and preventing threats).
We are building a global team that will have a presence in Switzerland, Poland, USA and Singapore that will encompass the competencies of Cyber Readiness, Third Party Cyber and Incident Management. Our Cyber Service Integration team is focused on ensuring that the right processes, procedures and controls are in place to enable the Cyber Defense organization. Your expertise
You have:
• ideally, 3+ years of experience with cyber security controls, processes, policies with depth in threat modeling best practices
• broad understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and knowledge of global cyber threats, threat actors and the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) used by cyber adversaries, particularly as they relate to the financial sector
• understanding of threat modeling and how to best leverage threat modeling frameworks
• good interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to present analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences
• good understanding of cyber threat management and how it relates to the business
• familiarity of key cyber functions (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond & Recover)
• ability to build and maintain positive relationships across the firm
• advanced experience with Excel and proficient with Microsoft Office products
