What You'll Do:

　　Responsibilities include understanding the risk appetite of the company, defining security requirements.Driving the development of detection engineering roadmaps in traditional and cloud hosting environments.Develop metrics for the detection engineering process to show progress towards goals and track gaps in detection coverage.Architecture and engineering of security solutions, security operations, identity management, incident detection and response, and aligning the global organization to best practice security initiatives. Critical to success for this role is deep technical and leadership skills, open communication, and collaboration with the multiple stakeholders in the organization, and externally with clients and partners.Able to document and educate others on the relationships between industry frameworks, attack lifecycles, threat outcomes, and compliance requirements.Own and articulate a clear vision for multiple cyber detection product domains that are aligned with the vision/strategy direction of Alight Global Security (AGS) team.Drive quality across cyber product domain solutions in support of enterprise security and client security requirements.Step in to assist with every aspect of Cybersecurity as needed. We are a tight-knit group, with many overlapping areas of responsibility.

　　What You'll Need:

　　Ability to act as a strategist and champion for security; paints a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to act.High level of credibility, with an accomplished background in security, preferably in environments with similar complexity and regulatory profiles to Alight, including working financial services, healthcare and he US Government and associated entities.Experience globally in protecting sensitive personal data including HIPAA and PII data.Builds constructive relationships with diverse groups of people, including internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (i.e., vendors, peer groups, regulators, etc.) and rating agencies.Steps up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said.Experience being externally facing to clients and industry peer groups.Has 5+ years of security and technology experience, preferably in Fortune 500 companies including exposure to client / sales support.Demonstrates knowledge of innovative cyber security technologies, information security best practices, organizational security strategies, and management of security operations.Exhibits deep understanding and functional expertise with relevant compliance and standards requirements across multiple countries and divisions.Executes on financial management issues and activities, preparing business area budget(s) and forecast(s) based on operational requirements.Understands principles, practices, and administration of technology.

　　Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $137,500.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $205,600.00/year (for full time employees).
