Class Weight and Inspection (CWI) Analysts are responsible for the accuracy of shipment information. As shipments are transferred, the Analyst review dimension data on selected shipments to ensure the accuracy of the bill of lading data. The information includes weight, class, commodity, and dimensions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Verification of NMFC classes, commodities, dimensions, and weight
Produce electronic inspection reports including dimensions, cube, densities, NMFC Items, photographs, and documentation
Strong understanding of AACT 190-J rules tariff, AAA Cooper's general shipping rules
Knowledge of Bills of Lading
Interact with dock and supervision staff
High level of integrity and development of a positive image and reputation with both internal and external customers
