Summary
As an Imaging Engineering Intern at Dolby, you will help build the tools needed to bring Dolby Vision to home cinema, TV, and theatres. Currently, that includes mastering tools for creating video streams, metadata editing, real-time image processing for post-production and real-time live broadcast, as well as tools to help us integrate into existing production systems. Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to tailor your solution to the project at hand are highly valued attributes.
ResponsibilitiesPrototype and validate new features and algorithms.Code and test post production and live broadcast tools.Troubleshoot and fix bugs and issues.QualificationsGraduate student in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Image Science, or equivalent experience.Proficiency with python/C++ and Linux.Experience with image processing, computer vision, machine learning/deep learning algorithms and implementations.Experience with current software practices and tools (e.g. Jira, Git).Bonus: Experience with professional post production tools, image processing, CUDA processing, multi-threaded/parallel processing.We recognize that applying to internships can be a daunting process, especially if you have not had any previous internships, or if this is a new field of interest to you. ELIGIBILITY
Working towards a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday - Friday for 3 months starting from May/June 2024.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is$45-$50/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
