1 - First Shift
Are you the type of person who thrives leading cross functional teams focused on international sales growth strategies and the financial performance of a business unit, while establishing, managing and achieving the sales and market share? In this role you will work closely with the sales team along with Vermeer dealers to ensure market-driven levels of production, parts, and promote dealer engagement. We’re looking for a leader who can build strong relationships and contribute to planning, creating, and executing a vision and strategy for the Cutting Edge business to drive market share.
What You’ll Do
Lead the acquisition and alliance pursuits for Cutting Edge to expand the portfolio offering, create fit for market solutions while maintaining partnerships as necessary.
Integrate with the Corporate Accounts teams to create sales plans and integrate efforts to capture sales potential.
Address dealer purity opportunities in conjunction with Lifecycle team.
Collaborate with regional entity leaders to ensure global perspective is incorporated into decisions, while championing initiatives and solutions that enable global growth and scale of the Cutting Edge business.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, Business Management or related field with a minimum of five years of experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Previous management and/or production experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills (direct and indirect leadership).
Ability to effectively manage project development and project teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
Firm knowledge of engineering, marketing, finance, quality and project management principles, lean principles, and manufacturing processes.
Travel
Occasional travel is expected of this position.Work Location
ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
