  The Customer Trainer, serves lawyers, paralegals, law librarians, and other legal professionals in law firms and government agencies by providing education on Thomson Reuters' legal products. The Trainer leverages their legal experience and product knowledge to identify customer product training needs, maximize product utilization, remove obstacles to product access and uncover new business opportunities. Our team is committed to delivering the best education, training, and product expertise in the marketplace, by using adult education principles. The Customer Trainer works in cross-functional teams and in partnership with other Thomson Reuters team members and supports Thomson Reuters Legal customers in North America and Europe.

  About the Role:

  In this opportunity as a Customer Trainer you will:

  Drives product adoption and usage, while helping customers achieve their expected ROI on Thomson Reuters' products.Utilizes adult learning principles and engagement techniques when leading customer work-flow based training sessions.Utilizes a blended learning approach to educate customers on Thomson Reuters products and how these are best utilized in the customers' specific workflow.Delivers exceptional customer service to our Legal Professionals clientsDevelops a professional virtual presence in law firms and government agencies via web-based virtual communication.Supports revenue retention and growth by effectively partnering with the account team to uncover the customers' business needs that align with Thomson Reuters product offerings.Maintains a high level of knowledge and expertise in Westlaw, Practical Law, Drafting Assistant and other solutions products, as well as customer workflows, product use cases, and industry trends.Record activity and customer information within our business systems.

  About You

  You're a fit for the role if your background includes:

  Law degree.Proficient in English (verbal and written)2+ years experience in adult training/education or learning & development background2+ years legal experience strongly preferredStrong oral and written communication and presentation skillsAdept at using full Microsoft suite of products, including MS TeamsAgile learners - Ability to learn something new.Commitment to a schedule that coincides with the customers' workday
