The Customer Trainer is responsible for designing and facilitating scalable learning experiences that enable PitchBook customers to achieve their desired success. They partner with our curriculum development team to build engaging training experiences and then deliver training to our customers in the form of live, instructor-led workshops. The Customer Trainer will be part of a new division in the Customer Success department focused on Customer Education. Each facilitated training will help scale our resources internally and provide our customers with learning and certification opportunities to level-up their professional skillsets.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Partner with curriculum developers to design engaging, instructor-led training sessions Facilitate group training sessions to drive product adoption and enable customers to achieve their desired success Manage the live training calendar hosted on our learning management system (LMS) Record instructional videos and product demonstrations for e-learning courses Maintain live training curriculum and implement improvements based on learner and Customer Success team feedback Analyze data from live training sessions to demonstrate the impact of training on desired business outcomes Be a resourceful learner—someone who consistently looks for ways to better understand the industry and clients PitchBook serves (venture capital, private equity, and M&A) Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience designing and facilitating live learning or similar experience training customers on a software product Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to facilitate an interactive group training environment for up to 25 participants Demonstrated experience delivering virtual instructor-led training using Zoom Strong interest in adult learning theory and ability to put new concepts into practice Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Interest in financial markets or services, particularly private equity and venture capital Team player willing to try new ideas to achieve greater levels of success Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Word

Compensation
Annual base salary: $60,000-$100,000 Target annual bonus percentage: 10%
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.
Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
