The customer service specialist will be responsible for
Manage inbound sales lead calls, report those to outside sales.Provide technical & material specifications and price quotes to customers in coordination with the sales department.Assist in building spreadsheets, worksheets and customer quotes.Support sales team with any special requestsFollow up with customers questions on order status and shipping information.Occasional travel may be required.Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Prior customer service experience in a manufacturing environment and/or Sales experience required. Experience in Marketing and Business social media development is a plus.
Language skills:
Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills daily. The ability to effectively present information independently, accurately, and timely is required. Proficiency in English is required, a second language is a plus.
Mathematical skills:
The ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide in any measurable unit is required. Understanding of per pound, square foot, prices per pound or square foot and other mathematical equations is required.
Other qualifications:
The ability to work with Excel, Word, Windows and other PC based programs is required. Must be able to work independently and within a team environment.
