UnspecifiedCollins Aerospace Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) business unit is currently seeking a Customer Service Engineer to join our team in the UK. This role will be based at our London Heathrow office (LHR).The successful candidate will be part of a system deployment team with their main responsibilities revolving around deployment of software applications at airports but also providing support and installation for hardware.
Providing the day-to-day support of the service along with new solutions, and troubleshooting, this role works closely with other deployment engineers and IT support staff to ensure timely roll outs and the wellbeing of other EMEA infrastructure.The Customer Service Engineer will be primarily responsible for:-
Monitoring of systems and implementing required configurations to ensure availability, reliability, adherence to security standards, and optimal system performanceIdentifying and troubleshooting hardware and software technical problems.Plan, design, and implement necessary configurations to bespoke softwareMonitoring of systems and implementing required configurations to ensure availability, reliability, adherence to security standards, and optimal system performanceAirport deployments of CUPPS, CUSS, Self Service Bag Drop, AODB / RMS, BRS, Baggage Message systems, Passenger validation and verification systems, eGatesTechnical support of bespoke applications and offerings of the Collins brandAssessment and execution of broadly defined technical tasks that require the use of independence, judgement and creativityOn call third level support of Collins products either on site or remotelyPhysical server buildsDevelop required documentation for system configuration, and support procedurePreferred Qualifications:
Microsoft MCSEExperience with MS SQLExposure to Cloud providers such as AWSExposure to Telco or Service Provider environmentsPreferred Skills/ Experience:
Experience within an Airport environmentExposure to Airport systems - CUPPS and CUSSTravel:
