POSITION SUMMARY
The new Strategic Innovation function will serve as the "R&D" platform for China commercial innovation, driving Pfizer China's digital innovation vision and transformation
Defines long-term vision for Pfizer China commercial innovation, and acts as the single point of accountability to lead companywide innovation strategy and implementation, including BM 3.3/digital innovation, alternative channels identification & development and innovation incubation

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The new Strategic Innovation function will serve as the "R&D" platform for China commercial innovation, driving Pfizer China's digital innovation vision and transformation
Define long-term vision for Pfizer China commercial innovation, and acts as the single point of accountability to lead companywide innovation strategy and implementation:
BM 3.3/Digital Innovation: transform the way we engage with patients and physicians. The Strategic Innovation Lead is responsible for outlining China specific BM 3.3 vision and blueprint and drives cross-functional alignment & collaboration at local and HQ level. In alignment with our global BM3.3 vision, this team will lead the significant undertaking in China with ambitious goals, to ensure that we are ready to transform our go-to-market model by the aligned timeline.
Alternative channels: accountable for leading development of alternative channel strategy, and continue to explore and implement opportunities to maximize PBG full portfolio access and footprint across alternative and emerging channels.
Incubation center: prepare the future for Pfizer China; by partnering with internal business units and stakeholders, and with external digital innovators, identify breakthrough innovative ideas, incubates digital innovation projects, develop them, and coordinate implementation in BUs; Sets up KPI on digital investment and evaluates performance.
Proactively engage and influence internal key stakeholders advocate for China's needs for innovation and build alignment on cross-functional & cross-layers support that best fit for business needs

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to China GM
Leads BM3.3/Digital Innovation, Alternative Channels, and Incubation center
Works in close collaboration with local BUs, Global BM3.3 team, SBD, IT, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Legal and Finance
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
BM 3.3 is expected to be a significant driver to optimize FF productivity in the future
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Fluent written and spoken English
Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred
15+ years of diverse commercial experience, including digital innovation experience, channel management experience (e.g. e-commerce, Internet hospitals) and people manager experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Strategic mindset to develop holistic & forward-looking innovation strategy
Open mind to embrace changes, adaptive to fast-changing market environment and lead under ambiguity
Strong leadership and communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders across different functions, advocate China priorities for innovation and drive company transformation
Able to build, lead, and motivate high-performance teams
Agility to manage complexity (across brands, channels, functions, cultures) and work in a matrix organization
