Job description
Managing day to day operations / delivery of assigned clients with a keen eye on oversight of operational risks.Review the work performed by other team members before releasing it to client.Ensure all activities are completed in line with internal standards and review as requiredEnsure incoming queries are being managed in a timely and accurate mannerKnowledge of Alternative Investment services business which is associated with Hedge and Private Equity fundsProvide support during US market hours, should be comfortable with Night Shift.Knowledge of Custody specific Trade life cycle process (trade types) in terms of processing and settlement activitiesRequire knowledge related to core Custody specific Trade types & its implications on the US and Global marketsResponsible for the settlement of Security transactions | Ensuring all trades are instructed, matched & settled on a timely basis | Monitoring of failing tradesPerforming reconciliation activities to adhere to verification checksWork in conjunction with individuals on the team as well as other business units, shared services/COEs, outsource partners, external clients as needed to resolve issues/discrepancies and ensure client satisfaction through seamless processing, accuracy, and adherence to all SLAs/internal standards/guidelines.Review end of day management reportsCollaborate and effectively communicate with the onshore team, raising any issuesDevelop, engage and retain an industry leading workforce using development plans and other available resources ; ensure cross-training is completed across the functional team and provide specific SME training as requiredAssess and implement improvements to processesWork on continuously improving the processes and improving the level of automation for processes related to the delivery to the clients (Build automated tools etc.)Participate in project and contribute to process improvements. Consistently work with Managers & Supervisor to stable the process work towards achieving the efficiency in the processPartner with manager to work on development goals, attend trainings and workshops to develop self.Escalate potential issues to immediate supervisor on a timely basis.Assist Managers in Non-BAU coordination's required by management. Require good Ms-office skills in line with the new technology advancements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equal job experience2+ years of custody experience;Working knowledge of financial productsExcellent computer skillsSuperior communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
