Vanguard's Financial Advisor Services (FAS) technology group is looking for a highly motivated Product Manager. This player/coach will be responsible for leading the strategic product strategy, driving product maturity and user adoption, and managing a team of product owners for FAS' CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics. This role will be responsible for the overall strategic vision, roadmap, and ensuring alignment to our multi-year sales technology vision; often requiring cross-divisional business and technology stakeholder management and prioritization. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for directly owning components of the product roadmap, while providing leadership for aligned product owners. Bringing prior experience and a deep comprehensive understanding of CRM products, the role they play in a B2B sales organization, and associated leading practices will be critical to helping drive the product maturity.
Core Responsibilities:
Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
Oversees product management activities for FAS' CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics and associated components / integrations .
Influences and collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the user experience.
Provides guidance and coaches product teams towards best practices and learnings. Manages product teams' support of the messaging, communication, and client outreach as necessary.
Facilitates strong business support through working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions/impacts and client propositions.
Leads the planning, development, and implementation of new product capabilities and/ or enhancements with significant impact. Defines and analyzes markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
Influences and employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience. Responsible for defining and measuring product maturity and other measures of success on a recurring basis.
Participates in and influences ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
Five years related business experience. Three years of leading cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Prior product ownership experience required.
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power Platform suite strongly preferred.
